Handmade dresses by local dress designer Leah Hartnell, were featured at last month’s Clothes Show Live event at Birmingham NEC.
The former Plymouth College of Art student from Liskeard showcased her work alongside that of top designers including Vivienne Westwood, Dolce and Gabbana and high-street store Jaeger.
βI really enjoyed the show,β said Leah, 23. βIt was exciting to sit back and see my pieces on the catwalk in a professional atmosphere. I felt the set design and lighting really complemented the garments.β
Leah Hartnell is a recent graduate, receiving a 1st BA (hons) degree in Fashion. Specialising in couture evening and cocktail wear.
